In today's world, everyone is so cosmetic and image-oriented. It's nice
that we have a solution and answer to people's concerns. They look in their
mouths, and they see old, worn-down silver fillings that they had as a
child, which now may be leaking. There may be decay. There could be cracks
associated with the tooth. So it's nice now, that we have an answer for
that. We just can simply remove that filling, clean up the tooth, and then
rebuild it with a new, actually bonded material that can seal the tooth
back up and restore it back to its original way, and at the same time looks
like a real tooth.
It's actually made of a composite resin material that's pretty much fine
glass particles that are ground down microscopically. Then it's all bound
together by these adhesives that we use to create a seal. Then we use a
light that actually cures the material. So we can sculpt it, shape it, and
then light-cure it, and within just seconds it's finished.
