Porcelain Crowns: Patient #6
Description
Porcelain Crowns are a beautiful way to restore broken, cracked, chipped, or otherwise damaged teeth (different from Porcelain Veneers which are strictly for Cosmetic purposes). In this case, Dr. Goodman utilized Porcelain Crowns to close the gap between the patient's two front teeth while restoring the natural luster that had been previously treated by Dental Bonding and Filling material. Porcelain Crowns were able to strengthen as well as cosmetically enhance this patient's smile. For treatment, Porcelain Crowns are completed in two visits, approximately two weeks apart. On the first visit, the patient's teeth are prepared by removing any decay or weakened areas and then temporaries are placed on. Two weeks later the luminous Porcelain Crowns are seated and customized to the patient's bite and smile.
