Porcelain Crowns: Mike's Transformation
Description
Mike had been a current patient of Dr. Goodman's and decided to inquire to take action to further discuss Dr. Goodman's recommendations about resolving the issues accompanied by his two twenty year old metal fused crowns on his front two teeth. Being a highly noticeable area, the patient did not like the appearance of the visible metal lines showing at the gum line nor did he prefer the alignment of the surrounding two teeth. Dr. Goodman combated both of these issues by replacing the old crowns with new, all Porcelain Crowns and Porcelain Veneers on the two surrounding teeth. On Mike's initial visit for treatment, the front four teeth required little prepping for the new Porcelain Crowns and Porcelain Veneers. Teeth that are being prepared for crowns that cover the whole tooth usually require more preparation than for Veneers, which fit like shields over the front of teeth. On Mike's initial visit for the crown preparation, the customization of shade, style, and size for his new restorations were also chosen and the new restorations were finished and placed within two weeks. Dr. Goodman went, and always goes the extra mile to ensure that new restorations match seamlessly with exquisite detail, providing a natural, luminous smile for his patients.
