Porcelain Veneers: Patient #7
Description
This patient's chief complaint was her discoloration and staining of her teeth that had been treated with an older Composite Bonding material several years prior. She was also very dissatisfied with the misalignment and protrusion of one of her lateral incisors (tooth next to the left front tooth in photo). The patient's main objective was to have a brighter, whiter, more attractive smile to feel more comfortable with herself. Dr. Goodman and the patient agreed that Porcelain Veneers were the appropriate option to combat the discoloration as well as alignment. In a short visit, Dr. Goodman removed the previous Composite Bonding through a conservative, but efficient and light preparation. He then built acrylic natural looking light temporary veneers while the Porcelain Veneers were constructed at the dental laboratory. Dr. Goodman constructed the teeth and designed the Veneers strategically to shield and prevent decay while looking beautifully aligned. On the next visit, her Porcelain Veneers were seated and she was extremely overjoyed with her new smile!
