Dental Implants: Patient #3
Description
This case is featuring Porcelain Crowns and an Implant Crown on the upper teeth. The Implant Crown was completed on the tooth to the right of the front teeth in the image. This patient was born without this tooth and had previously been using a removable partial device with a fabricated tooth in place of the extra space. The patient no longer wished to use a partial device, but wanted a permanent option. Dr. Goodman was able to build tissue in the surrounding area in order to place a Dental Implant to be stabilized. Osseointegration, or healing time, takes about three to six months following the placement of the Implant and Custom Abutments. After healing, the Porcelain Crowns are then ready to be customized and attached. After critically checking and making any adjustments, Dr. Goodman sends you out in the world with your brand new smile!
